Christ The King Governors Slam Consultation

Many thanks to Chris Whitehouse for copying VentnorBlog in on a letter from the Chair of Governors of Christ the King College to the Leader of the Council.

It is in relation to the consultation for the proposal to remove discretionary concessionary bus fares to faith schools.

In the letter, David Lisseter provides some of the substantial evidence to support the College’s assertion that the information cited in the consultation process is flawed.

Are the council deceiving the public?
It’s suggested that the council may be deceiving the public as to the potential savings of the proposal and points out that the council are currently paying more than double per annum than the public are being asked to pay.

Chris tells us that all this is in addition to the flaws in the process itself which have already been pointed out.

The Chair of Governors is once again calling for the process to be halted.
