There something for everyone at the Bembridge Community Library’s annual Christmas Fayre to be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the library in Church Road Bembridge.
The event includes music from the Recorder Consort, Bembridge Bell Ringers and Christmas Carols sung by children from St Helens Primary School.
Refreshments will be on offer from the ever-popular cake stall and there will again be a bric-a-brac stall as well as hundreds of books and jigsaws on sale, starting at just 10p for good condition hardbacks.
The event will also be the last chance to purchase tickets for the grand library raffle, offering lots of prizes including a £100 cash first prize and many contributions kindly donated by local businesses. The draw will be at noon.
The library will also continue to operate as normal for book transactions as well as the public computer service and the sale of garden waste sacks.
