‘Club doorman almost kills man’ video looks like Yates, Newport (Update)

We’ve just found this extraordinary video (called ‘Club doorman almost kills man’) on YouTube after @Rosebushh Tweeted it.

We’ve spoken to the person who shot this video from their car mounted camera and they confirm that the incident took place outside Yates in Newport.

The video shows someone in a Yellow jacket – often worn by doormen – violently push someone into the middle of the road, just as a car comes into view.

Quick reactions
Fortunately for all concerned the driver of the car reacts quickly and swerves away from the shoved-man moving towards them, with the car braking just in time.

It’s quite clear from the video that if that drive hadn’t taken that evasive action, the person pushed would have been hit by the car.
