Officers at the Isle of Wight council confirmed today that they’ve been working with the X-Factor production company to organise auditions on the Isle of Wight for the ITV programme.
X-Factor preliminary ‘mobile’ auditions will be taking place on Thursday 28 March (that’s next week) at Quay Arts Centre in Newport.
The council say, “Mobile auditions are held in front of the programme’s production team, and if you are lucky enough to get through, you go on to the arena auditions in front of the famous judges. Last year’s winner James Authur was discovered in a mobile audition – if you take part, good luck!”
The auditions take place between 10am and 5pm. Just turn up and take part.
