Three teenagers have received a summons to appear at court as part of a robbery investigation.
It was reported to police that at around 7pm on 31st January this year, a 15-year-old boy was threatened with a knife at Sandown Pier and had his shoes stolen.
Police have conducted extensive enquiries and three people will appear in court to face the following charges:
- A 15-year-old boy from Newport will face a charge of robbery, and of possession of a knife in a public place.
- A 16-year-old boy from East Cowes will face a charge of possession of a knife in a public place.
- A 17-year-old boy from Rookley will face a charge of handling stolen goods.
All three will appear at the Isle of Wight Youth Court on 4th January 2023.
