Councillor Karl Love, the ward councillor for East Cowes has been in touch to advise that the Cowes Floating Bridge service has been suspended this morning (Monday).
He says,
“”They have decided to suspend the service this morning (Monday) from 0800 as in addition to the prow hinge replacement a repair is needs to be undertaken to the east passenger gate which is broken and repairs are also required to the ‘fingers’ on the east prow.
“It is still anticipated that the service will remain suspended until 1400 tomorrow (Tuesday.)”
