Cowes Students’ environmental dedication recognised by International Green Flag Award

Students at Cowes Enterprise College, which is sponsored by Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT), have once again earned a Distinction in the coveted Green Flag Award, as part of their work with the academy’s Eco-Council.

The internationally acclaimed Green Flag award, granted by Eco-Schools, celebrates the environmental accomplishments of youth, highlighting the significance of their dedicated efforts.

This accolade also acknowledges their contributions towards fostering a greener and more sustainable school environment.

Eco-Schools England Manager, Adam Flint, said,

The Green Flag award recognises Cowes Enterprise College students’ strategic planning, evident in projects such as beach cleans and the creation of a Remembrance Garden.
