Celebrations are taking place at Cowes Enterprise College (CEC) this morning as Year 11s collect their hard-earned GCSE results.
The academy, part of Ormiston Academies Trust, is pleased to announce another year of exceptional results achieved by its students following several years of perseverance and commitment to their studies.

The Year 11 cohort has now come together to celebrate their excellent outcomes, as they prepare to take their next steps in education. Many of the cohort are already looking forward to returning to CEC for their chosen post-16 courses in September.

Standout individual achievements
Alongside the academy’s continued success, standout individual achievements include:
- Emily Stephens – 9 in biology, business, English literature, maths, 8 in chemistry, English language, physics, Spanish, 7 in history. Emily intends on studying maths, further maths, physics and chemistry at the CEC 6th form.
- Mikey Montgomery – 9 in maths and physics, 8 in biology, chemistry, computer science and geography. Mikey intends on studying maths, further maths, computer science and physics at the CEC 6th form.
- Erin Greenham – 9 in biology, English language, 8 in chemistry, English literature and physics, 7 in art and design, geography, maths and Spanish. Erin intends on studying biology, chemistry and psychology at the CEC 6th form.
- Josh Blow – 9 in English language, maths, 8 in chemistry, English literature and physics, 7 in geography. Josh intends on studying maths, further maths and physics at the CEC 6th form.
- Jacob Blow – 8 in English literature, chemistry, maths, physics, 7 in English language. Jacob intends on studying maths, further maths, physics and chemistry at the CEC 6th form.
- Libby Henstridge – 9 in English literature and geography, 8 in biology, English language and maths, 7 in chemistry, PE, physics and Spanish. Libby intends on studying chemistry, biology, psychology and PE at the CEC 6th form.
- Finn Cody – 9 in Maths, 8 in English literature, history, physics, 7 in biology and music. Finn intends on studying philosophy & ethics, maths and further maths at the CEC 6th form.
- Lola Lewis – 9 in geography, 9/8 in combined science, English literature and maths, 7 in DT, English language, PE and Spanish. Lola intends on studying on English literature, Spanish and law at the CEC 6th form.
- Amelia Rowan – 9 in biology, business, maths, 8 in chemistry and English language, 7 in English literature, geography and physics. Amelia intends on studying maths, further maths, economics and biology at the CEC 6th form.
- Ruby Williams – 9 in business, chemistry and maths, 8 in biology and physics, 7 in geography. Ruby intends on studying maths, biology and chemistry at the CEC 6th form.
