Ryde Library are running a couple of great competitions for young people at the moment.
The Creative Kids Competition is being run in conjunction with Ryde Arts Festival.
There is a ‘super short story’ competition for seven to ten year olds. In 300 words or less entries should be entitled ‘What an Adventure’.
Photography competition
Eleven to fourteen year olds need to get their cameras out for the photography competition.
Titled ‘Get Caught Reading’ see if you can capture yourself or someone else, in an unusual place to get caught reading.
The closing date is Friday 15th June 2012. You can pick up an entry form and full details from Ryde Library.
