If you’re concerned about your local area, why not join the council and help make a difference?
Tomorrow is the deadline to get your nominations in for the seat of West Wight councillor.
Following the sad death of Cllr Stuart Dyer last month, residents are invited to stand for the position on the county council.
Anyone wishing to stand as a county councillor should complete a nomination form and return to County Hall by noon tomorrow (Friday 21st October).
If you’re interested in standing, simply get in touch with the Returning Officer (Steve Beynon) by calling 821000 and asking for a nomination form. But you’d better be quick!
