According to the latest Forward Plan and as reported back in October 2012, Cllr Dawn Cousins, Cabinet member for Children’s Services and Education will this month be making a decision on the future of the Isle of Wight Music Service.
Readers will remember the council’s announcement back in March 2012 of their plans to shake up the Isle of Wight Music Service.
There was wide outcry at the prospect of staff losing their jobs and the impact that would have on the service being provided on the Island.
Later this month, Cllr Cousins will make a Delegated Decision on the future of the Music Service. We’ll let you know once the DDR is released.
