Seventeen cars on yesterday’s 2pm sailing of Wightlink’s St Faith boat from Portsmouth had to be transferred to the next sailing.
The reason for the delay to their journey was due to what Wightlink call a ‘hydraulic problem’ on the mezzanine floor.
A spokesperson from Wightlink told OnTheWight,
“There was a hydraulic problem on the ship which prevented the deck from being used. 17 cars were transferred to the next sailing.
“This was fixed overnight when the ship was off the run.”
