Organised by St Lawrence Community Association, the BBQ and Beach Clean takes place at Binnell Bay today (Saturday) from 5pm.
All you need to take along is a black plastic bag (for collecting rubbish), a pair of stout gloves, your portable BBQ and ingredients for your feast (plus a drink).
While your BBQ is warming up, collect beach rubbish and bag it up to take home later and dispose of. Return to your smouldering coals and start to BBQ your sausages / sweetcorn / veggie burger etc.
The hard work and the aroma of sizzling sausages will work up your appetite – sit down on a comfy boulder, eat, drink and be merry with good company. Result – a lovely clean beach and a good time guaranteed to be had by all!
