After a successful event last February featuring Island musicians and authors in support of Ventnor Library and Ventnor Music Library, it’s happening again.
On Saturday, 4th February, Ventnor Library Rocks AGAIN!.
Last year’s event was supported by bands and individual singer-songwriters as varied as Lucid, Ellie Burke, “The Isle of Wight Music Library Sympathy Quartet”, Paul Armfield, and The Longdown Ladies.
More musical friends join us in 2012
This year sees the return of The Hillmans, Mick Watson, Slombers Woke (pictured) and Cephalodidge, with new supporters JC Grimshaw and family, Second Time Around, The Dollymops, The Lizards and David Hughes.
There will also be readings of Isle of Wight writers Jan Toms, Jamie Macaulay, Joanne Thornton, David Yates and Caroline King from their own works.
Signed books and CDs will be available, with the possibility of wining some in the raffle. There will also be refreshments.
Where and when
The event begins at 10am, pausing between 12.30pm and 1.30pm for lunch, then continuing again until 4.30pm at Ventnor Library, High Street, Ventnor.
