The number of unemployed claimants on the Isle of Wight has dropped once again.
According to the Office for National Statistics, the number of unemployed claimants on the Island in June 2011, dropped to 2,657.
The number of claimants is 111 lower than in June 2010 and 156 lower than in May 2011. These data are not seasonally adjusted.
This represents a rate of 4.3% of the economically active population aged 16 to 64, the 354th highest of the 650 UK constituencies.
