Yep, it’s that time of year again, another Souperia event is being held tomorrow at East Dene in Bonchurch.
We went last year and had the best soup we’d tasted in ages, topped with croutons and accompanied by a glass of wine all for £2.50. Great value in wonderful surroundings with a lively atmosphere.
They are doing the ‘school dinner’ puds again as well … spotted dick, treacle sponge, etc with cream or custard will set you back just £1.50.
So leave your cars at home, go for a bracing walk along the seafront up to Bonchurch and for four quid you can have yourselves a lovely lunch.
