Isle of Wight Green Party leader and 2015 Parliamentary candidate, Vix Lowthion, has been selected from Green Party members across the country for an economics masterclass next month.
She has been invited to London, along with a hand-picked group of new generation prospective Green MPs, to an intensive seminar.
They will partake in discussions on the 2008 crash, banking, austerity cuts, trade unions and what an alternative economy will look like.
Valuing a more equal distribution of wealth
Vix said,
“I am proud to have been selected by the national party to learn more about how progressive economics can support working towards the common good.
“A nation which recognises the value of a more equal distribution of wealth will have a successful economy. I am looking forward to visiting the House of Commons with other prospective MPs, and I am sure that this will not be my last trip.”
