This weekend sees the return of the Round the Island Race.
Every year nearly two thousand boats take to the water and race anti-clockwise around the Island.
This year the race is starting earlier than usual, 5am, so the Ventnor Winter Gardens are offering a chance to view the race from one of the best spots on the Island, whilst enjoying a champagne breakfast no less!
Yes folks, you can admire the beautiful view of the hundreds of yachts coming round the corner of the coast from the balcony of the Riviera Bar this Saturday morning.
Starting from 8.30am and running until 11am, there will be a choice of luxurious Smoked Salmon Bagel with Scrambled Egg and a Glass of Bubbly for £7.95 or good ole’ traditional, with a full English Breakfast for £5.50.

If you don’t fancy being up on the balcony, the ground floor Bell Bar is open as usual, serving food and refreshments throughout the day.
