A group of Ryde Academy sixth formers are taking part in the National Young Enterprise Competition, which challenges them to set up and run their own business.
One of the groups has started a company called Smile Buddy.
Monthly toothbrush and picks service
Smile Buddy provides an affordable, convenient, sustainable subscription service that delivers a bamboo toothbrush and cornstarch floss picks to your door each month.
Since December, the team have raised £365, which has gone towards buying stock, packaging and marketing. Their goal now is to start promoting, selling and generating a profit.
Cost
At the moment customers can only order one brush and pick set per subscription , so if you need more for your household, just sign up for X subscriptions.
Costs are:
- £4 per individual box
- £14 for 4 months subscription
- £11 for 3 months subscription
