County Hall:

Live coverage of Executive meeting tonight as members consider Undercliff and Totland seawall deferral

Tonight (Tuesday) the Isle of Wight Executive will gather at County Hall for their first monthly meeting since the reshuffle that has seen Cllrs Richard Priest and Jon Gilbey out of the Executive and Cllr Paul Fuller take on the role of Executive Member for Planning and Licensing .

Once again, OnTheWight will be providing live coverage of the meeting from 6pm, something we’ve been doing in various forms since 2007.

Scrutiny call-in
Tonight’s meeting begins with members considering the recommendations of the Scrutiny Committee from its meeting last week on the Call-in of Executive Decision 73 (14/15) – Capital Programme Contingency Budget – Bids for Resources and Prioritisation of Key Capital Projects. (see our live coverage from the night).

The Deputy Leader and Executive Member for Adult Social Care and Community Wellbeing will report on the Better Care Fund (Paper C), the Home Care Fee Review 2014/15 (Paper D) and consider changes to the way the council Assesses Service Users’ Entitlement to Disability Related Expenditure (Paper E).

Other items
The Executive Member for Children’s Services and Corporate Governance, Cllr Jonathan Bacon, will report on the School Funding Formula 2015/16 (Paper F) and the Executive Member for Sustainability, Cllr Luisa Hillard will report on a proposal to participate in the European Union (EU) Funded Project Smilegov (ISLE-PACT) – (Paper G) and report on a paper recommending sustainable sountryside (Paper H).

As always, if time there’ll be consideration of the Forward Plan and members’ question time.
