Saturday (11th May 2024) at Ingram’s Yard in Ventnor brings with it a chance to trade, share and repair!
Join the People’s Palace of Possibilities for a vibrant community exchange where money takes a back seat and other forms of exchange can take centre stage.
Stalls to include:
- Small Things Swap Shop: Bring an unwanted item and trade it. Clothes, books, knick-knacks – but remember to keep it portable! What item will you bring?
- Seed Sensations: Share your garden bounty or pick up something new! Swap seeds and cultivate your green thumbs together.
- Story Exchange: Connect with your neighbours through the sharing of stories and ideas in the Palace Radio.
- Recipe Swap: Write down a loved, tried and tested recipe on a postcard and swap with others.
Ventnor Community Shed
From 2pm we will be celebrating Ventnor Community Shed’s plans for a tool lending programme.
Find out about plans for an innovative initiative where you can borrow what you need to tackle any project.
Head over from noon to 4pm. Suitable for all ages, wheelchair accessible.
