Last updated:

Were you staring into space at work yesterday, praying for 5pm and wishing you had a new job?

Are you “a highly organised and motivated Executive Officer”? Well, Isle of Wight Conservative MP, Bob Seely, might have just the role for you.

You’ll have quite a few responsibilities according to the job ad that’s appeared on the notice board that MPs use.

Plenty o’ tasks
You’ll be “running his fast-paced diary, liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings”, and also have overall responsibility for maintaining Bob’s inbox.

The fun doesn’t stop there as you’ll also be responsible for:

  • “Drafting of letters and emails”
  • “Manage a fast-moving diary”
  • “Produce briefings/ agendas for meetings and speeches”
  • As well as a bunch of other tasks.

Bear in mind that “Applicants must be able to use their own initiative and make sound judgments”.

Is it the job for you?
If you can do that, and survive in London living on £23,500, it could well be the job for you.

If tempted, don’t forget you have to be, “Sympathetic to the aims and values of the Conservative Party.”

See the job listing on the Working for an MP Website.
