Newport Medina Quay will be a hive of activity tomorrow when Riverfest returns for its annual event.
There’ll be all manner of activities taking place including trips on the world’s smallest commercial paddle steamer PS Monarch.
Skipper, Matt O’Crowley has arranged for boats of all shapes, ages and sizes to form a flotilla, that will arrive at noon.
The Monarch will also be offering trips along the river, as will other boats and crafts.

The Medina Valley Centre’s Eco-Challenger will be on show – giving children the chance of making toys powered by the sun. A variety of angling clubs charities associated with the river and the wider community will be at the event. The Wight Pirates re-enactors will be invading the Riverfest – so watch out!
