Friday 14th October sees the very first Isle of Wight netwalking event take place.
Organised by Sara Truckel of Truckel Creative, the idea of the walk is a chance to meet other business owners, get out of the office, get some exercise and network in a relaxed and informal way.
Sara says the route of the first walk is around three-miles long and should be suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced walkers.
Can go for a drink or some food afterwards
She says,
“We will start and finish at Arreton Barns so we can go for a drink or some food together afterwards.
“Please note you will be walking at your own risk and will need to sign a waiver that you understand this before we set off.”
You can park at Arreton Barns, but Sara encourages car share/cycle/use public transport where you can.
Monthly walks
There are plans to walk in a different location each month (second Friday of the month).
Keep an eye on Sara’s Twitter account for updates.
Where and when
Starting at Arreton Barns (PO30 3AA) the walk sets off at 10.30am on Friday 14th October 2022.
You can book your place via EventBrite. The event is free but if you wish to make a donation they will be split between the two charities Sara is supporting this year – Hillside Animal Sanctuary in the UK and Ugolyok Animal Shelter in Ukraine.
