Fix My Street: Report Problems And Follow Their Progress

If you haven’t heard about Fix My Street, it’s a great new service, which has been running since February, it’s well worth a look.

Fix My StreetThe idea of the service is to enable the general public to report local problems, such as graffiti, fly tipping, broken paving slabs, or street lighting.

These then get sent through the relevant local authority and it’s progress is updated on the website so you can follow the action taken.

The latest to be reported on the Isle of Wight is in relation to dangerous potholes near the Donkey Sanctuary.

It’s interesting to see the types of problems being reported across the other local authorities and how effectively they are dealt with. Interesting also, to see that we’re not alone with the problems of dog fouling.
