Medina Leisure Centre:A fun day for children with disabilities under the short breaks scheme is being moved to a new location.

The event on Wednesday 25 July will now take place at Medina Leisure Centre in Newport. It was due to be held at Nettlecombe Farm in Whitwell but due the recent weather and ground conditions the decision has been made to move the event now.

Range of activities
During the fun day there will be a range of activities including everything from sport to simulations. There are two sessions with the first being held between 10am – 1pm and the second between 1.30pm and 4pm.

These include a football session provided by the Isle of Wight Inclusive Football Club, a boat simulation offered by the United Kingdom Sailing Academy and a range of play equipment.

There will also be free face painting and balloon modelling with Crackers the Clown, and well known Isle of Wight magician David Randini will host a magic show.

Refreshments will be available including the opportunity to purchase hot or cold foods.
