Going Electric: Don’t miss the very first Isle of Wight event dedicated to all types of electric transport

Sunday 31st July sees the very first motor show on the Isle of Wight totally dedicated to electric transport.

Going Electric is the Island’s largest ever EV Motorshow with all the Island’s leading main dealers taking their place including:

Harwoods, Leslies Motor Group, Premier Motors, Esplanade, Staddlestones, Snows and Central Garage, with the latest from; Ford, MG, Kia, Suzuki, Toyota, Hyundai, Mercedes Benz, VW, Volvo, Citroen, BMW, Mini, Renault, Nissan, Peugeot and more.

There will also be light commercial vehicles on display across the main dealers and from specialists including Nixon Automotive, including the all new E.Transit from Ford.

Going Electric
Going Electric will be showcasing electric transport in all its forms – not just Electric Vehicles (EVs), but vans, bikes, drones, charging infrastructure and more, together with talks from leading experts on many aspects of the electric transport revolution and even a chance to take part in the Net Zero Gameshow.

The event is being held at Isle of Wight College on Sunday 31st July between 10am to 4pm at Isle of Wight College, Newport. It’s free to attend, with plenty of free parking.

Another popular area will be ‘Meet the Owner’, curated by Vehicle Consulting. This provides a chance to meet current EV owners and see their cars.

If you have any burning questions about their day-to-day use of EVs and how they fit into their lives, this will be the perfect opportunity to ask away.

Not only that, but a showcase of innovation in electric vehicles and design will be led by engineering specialists MedTec and design company NOSY, where you can take apart in their Net Zero Gameshow.

IT and technology company, PC Consultants, will be showing ‘Starlink’ from SpaceX and giving you the chance to take control of a Telepresence Robot.

There’s a lot to pack into the day, but make sure you take your seat in the Seminar Room for some of the talks from leading experts.
