Just under a month ago, journalist, broadcaster and author, Grace Dent, tweeted for suggestions of lovely things to do, eat and see on the Isle of Wight.
Islanders (and visitors) responded in their droves with more than 120 responses, including suggestions to visit Ventnor Exchange for cocktails and craft beer, The Terrace in Yarmouth for food, walk on Mottistone Down, Tennyson Down and loads more.
This morning (Tuesday), News OnTheWight reader Christopher Jackson spotted Grace, along with celebrity TV Chef, Ainsley Harriott MBE, filming in Ventnor and they kindly posed for this shot.
Lunch at the Smoking Lobster
Grace and Ainsley were visiting the Smoking Lobster, just one of the many brilliant recommendations made via Twitter.
Christopher explained the team were filming for a new TV series and will be on the Island at various locations throughout the week.
If you didn’t already know, The Smoking Lobster also has a larger sister restaurant of the same name in Cowes, as well as a classy sushi bar in Ventnor called The Drunken Lobster.
