Visit Isle of Wight (VIOW) have launched its new digital Advent calendar with a sleigh-load of local Isle of Wight gifts and experiences on offer in the countdown to Christmas.
Winter wonderland beach huts
The enchanting calendar is made up of 24 winter wonderland beach huts with a virtual “door” for eager gift buyers to open each day.
Hidden behind each one is a Christmas cracker of a gift to purchase from a different Island business. Some gifts are experiences only available on the Island, whereas others are items that can be posted out from local business in plenty of time to be wrapped and put under the tree.
Island gifts galore
The enchanting calendar kicked-off yesterday (Tuesday) with the opportunity to purchase an Isle of Wight Steam Railway ‘Footplate Experience’ and will continue with Island gifts galore to suit all needs and budgets every day until 24th December.
