Have Your Say on Future Childcare Provision

Another public consultation to add to the list. This just in from the council. Ed

Islanders are being encouraged to complete an online survey about the future provision of childcare (0 – 19yrs) on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight Council has produced a draft ‘Childcare Sufficiency’ report (PDF) and is seeking feedback via the survey.

The council is required by government to have sufficient levels of childcare available to parents. Good childcare services allow parents to take up or remain in work or look to taking up education to help them get employment.

The survey findings will be considered when drafting the final report, which will be published later this year.

Parents and current providers are all encouraged to fill out the survey. To access it direct, you should go to WightChyps Website.
