In two weeks time, a Healing Festival will be taking place in Ventnor for the first time. Ventnorian, Gianpaolo Giancovich, explains the background of the festival and what we can expect. Ed
The Ventnor Botanic Garden will play host to what aims to be one of the greatest spiritual events known around the world.
We hope to give visitors to the festival a mind opening experience, leaving them calm, yet motivated with positive energy, happy thoughts and a big smile.
The aim is to make people aware of their health, of different healing treatments and energies, the importance of breathing, diet and exercise and how it can lead to a healthier lifestyle, physically, mentally and spiritually.
The gardens will be open to the public as normal and the festival will be interactive with practitioners on hand to help explain and teach.
Try something new
You can have your favourite treatment or try one you’ve not heard of before, join in drumming / didgeridoo / relaxa”‹tion / meditation workshops or just bring a picnic, relax and take in the therapeutic sounds, wonderful scenery and hopefully some sunshine.
Healing can be defined as regaining balance of mind, body and/or emotions.
The Healing Festival is a non-profit event and entry is free, but please give generously to the donation boxes to help raise money for the costs of the festival, the Botanic Garden and some amazing charities.
The times for the festival will be 10am til 6pm both days.
