We all love a good rummage through the charity shops to pick up a bargain or two every now or then.
Given the financial difficulties that many have been experiencing over the last couple of years, we expect the number of people using charity shops has increased dramatically, so it’s no surprise to hear that the Hospice are appealing for good quality clothing.
The tell us that they are in urgent need of the clothing to sell in their Island charity shops.
If you have anything you can donate, please take it to the Hospice Warehouse for sorting on Dodnor Industrial Estate in Newport.
The warehouse is almost exactly opposite the Royal Mail Offices and is clearly marked. The telephone number is 244230.
Every little helps
Good quality, gently worn and nearly new clothes are a great source of income for the Hospice. Clothes should be clean and complete with all zips, buttons etc in place and of a quality that will attract potential customers.
Don’t forget to say where you heard about the appeal if you’re going to be making donations.
