The elections for Town, Parish and Community Councils will be held on Thursday, 1st May 2025.
Make sure you’re ready to vote with these important dates and details.
Important Election Deadlines
- Friday 11th April 2025: Register to vote deadline (visit the Government website to register)
- Wednesday 23rd April: Apply for voter authority certificate (This is for those who don’t have photo ID to vote)
- Monday 14th April 2025: Postal vote application deadline
- Wednesday 23rd April 2025: Proxy vote application deadline
- 4pm Wednesday, 2nd April 2025: Nomination papers deadline (for those wishing to stand for election)
Polling Stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on election day.
Polling Cards will not be delivered
Polling Cards will not be delivered for the Ryde wards, and remember, photo ID is required to vote in person.
