Hampshire County Council has been running the HantsWeb awards for quite a few years.
The idea behind it is to highlight Websites in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight that their judges select as worthwhile.
There’s quite a few Island sites that have got through to the final including Matt & Cat’s Island eating guide; Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust; The Real Island Food Company and Isle of Wight Council.
The Ellen MacArthur Trust has reached the final in a two of categories.
This year HantsWeb has also opened a new award for the Best ‘Public Voted’ Website, where the public is able to vote for their single favourite Website.
