The choir will perform two contrasting works: the Gloria by 20th-century French composer Francis Poulenc, and Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, known as the “Great Mass” and welcomes renowned composer and conductor, Jonathan Willcocks.
This coming Saturday night, The West Wight Slipshod Singers will perform with a special guest soloist at Christ Church, Totland in a Poppy Day Appeal Concert.
Two performances, which will be held in Christ Church, Church Hall, Totland Bay, have largely been organised by James Malia and aim to raise funds for aid agency CAFOD’s refugee appeal.

If you knew Jules, it would be no surprise to hear that he didn't want anyone wearing black to his funeral. A celebration of his life takes place on Monday and all those who knew Jules are welcome.
