Thanks to all those who took part in the Isle of Arts Classic Film Competition.
Readers were asked to choose which film from a list of six classic films they’d like to see screened during the Celebration of Film at this coming weekend’s Isle of Arts Festival.
The winning film is ….
The results are in and the winning film was the 1986 classic, Stand By Me.
Of those who voted for the winning film, Donna Hayward’s name was pulled out of the virtual hat. Donna will be treated to two all-day passes for the Celebration of Film Day.
Congratulations Donna, the festival organisers will be in touch with you to organise where you can pick up your tickets from.

If were unlucky in this competition, tickets can be bought either on a per session basis for £4.00 for all film (except Wight Film Network session which is free) or you can throw caution to the wind and spend £9.00 for an all day pass.
Come and go as you please and pick and mix the film events that grab your interest.
