Thank you to everyone who took part in our Isle of Arts Festival competition for tickets to Comedy At The Boathouse.
Getting you to work hard for the tickets and exercise your comedic juices resulted in less entries than usual for the other comps, but we still had a few over the weekend.
We asked you to come up with best response to “How many comedians does it take to change a light bulb?”
Our favourite gag was ….
As we mentioned our favourite entry would receive two tickets to see a plethora of comedians perform at the Boathouse on Sunday evening from 7.30pm.
A good effort was put in by all who took part, but the first entry, which was from Laurence Brown, hit the spot for us.
His gag was ….
“Only one. They don’t like to share the spotlight.”
