Island businesses are being urged not to miss the deadline to enter for the prestigious IW Chamber Business Awards, in association with WightFibre.
All entries must be submitted on-line, by 23.59 on Tuesday 31st January. Nominations will be announced at the end of March and the awards will be presented at Cowes Yacht Haven on Friday 12th May 2023.
The event celebrates the best in Island business, showcasing the wide range of high calibre businesses based on the Isle of Wight.
Holbrook: There are no favourites and these awards aren’t presented lightly
Chamber’s Chief Executive, Steven Holbrook, says,
“This year’s awards will once again be judged by an impartial panel of business experts, mostly based off-Island and in many cases outside of the UK.
“We work incredibly hard each year to secure the support of an amazing team of judges. They will assess each entry on merit, looking at real numbers and real success stories. There are no favourites and these awards aren’t presented lightly.
“We’re looking forward to another brilliant night, where the cream of the Island’s business community can celebrate at the biggest and most spectacular party of the year.”
Open to any business based on the Island
Awards submissions will reflect activity during the 12 months of 2022 and the categories cover a wide range of sectors and aspects of business.
Entries are open to any business based on the Island and you don’t have to be a member of the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce.
Holbrook: Start thinking about your submission now
Steven Holbrook said,
“The most important thing right now is that businesses register on the Awards Website.
“Once you are logged in you can access the documents and outlines for each category. Each award is broken down into a series of weighted questions, a bit like an exam paper.
“All entries must be submitted on-line too. So I would urge all businesses to register for a user account and start thinking about your submission now, if you haven’t already.”
