After the one-a-day blast of Isle of Wight Festival acts last week, we thought it’d all go quiet for a while.
Much to our surprise, they called us yesterday with more news.
We’ve not seem him play live, but Jacquie tells us that his performances these days are as intoxicating as they were decades ago. He’ll have no problem filling the Big Top on Saturday night.
Let’s just put it this way – the knicker shops of the Island are going to be empty in the build up to this performance.
John Giddings, the Festival promoter, says “What can I say that hasn’t been said about this man and his voice? We are so proud that he has chosen to play our Festival next summer. It will be incredible”¦”
