Isle of Wight band, Waves, will be launching their second EP, Young Hearts, this coming Friday (10th April) at the Blacksheep Bar in Ryde.
Supporting the four piece alternative rock band, will be local talent Polar Maps and Lewis Shepperd.
Formed in 2012, Waves have gone on to play some of the most prestigious venues on the south coast of England, including Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms, Isle of Wight Festival and Southampton Joiners as well as enjoying playing to busy crowds in London.
Their debut self-titled EP was released in the summer of 2013 at a hometown show, to a sold-out crowd. 2014 saw the release of two more singles, which gained radio airplay and interest from press overseas, leading up to a special performance live in HMV Southampton as part of their ‘Digital Week’ and another sold-out hometown show.
2015 looks bright for Waves with a short run of shows around the south coast of the UK serving as a warm up to the release of their much anticipated second EP, Young Hearts, which is being launched at The Blacksheep Bar in Ryde on 10th April.
