Shademakers UK are an outdoor arts and carnival company from the Isle of Wight and have toured their work internationally.
In 2022, they represented the Isle of Wight at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant and now they are bringing their stunning kinetic carnival costumes to the stage at Shanklin.
Ad Astra – to the stars
Following themes of flight, wings and the skies, Ad Astra is a huge spectacle that will immerse the audience in a unique theatrical experience.
Shademakers are holding recruitment workshops for our performance of Ad Astra at Bay Primary School, Thursday 7th March, 7-9pm
Who can take part
You must be over 10 years old.
We are looking for dancers, puppeteers, costume wearers and stage crew.
