Don’t miss your last chance to buy one of the fantastic prints by Duncan Shears on display at Dimbola Museum and Galleries at the moment.
Island Artisans is a documentary photojournalist project produced by Duncan Shears, Director of Oakshed Media.
It aims to promote farmers and producers on the Isle of Wight, and by extension Britain as a whole.
Showing the passion behind the food producers
Duncan says, “We want to show you the people behind the businesses. We want to show the strength of character and proud ethical traditions of their trade. We want to show how hard they work and how they strive to produce quality foods, ethically and with their local community in mind, not just their profit margins.”
This exhibition will feature three artisans; Brownrigg Poultry, Goddards Brewery and The Isle of Wight Cheese Company.
These black and white photojournalist collections are an intimate and emotive look at some of the Isle of Wight’s Finest.
If you are passionate about Island food producers one (or more) of these prints will make a great addition to your home.
Costs are £35 print only, £40 for a mounted print or £45 for mounted and framed print.
As it’s the last week you can also take them home as soon as you purchase.
