Last chance to secure a ‘spare seat’ on Isle of Wight school buses

Applications for the ‘spare seat’ scheme on school buses for the 2024/25 academic year close this Friday.

Introduced by the Isle of Wight council, the ‘spare seat’ scheme aims to help parents and guardians whose children are not eligible for free school transport to benefit from affordable transport options.

Don’t miss the deadline
The deadline to apply for a ‘spare’ seat is 4pm on Friday 12th July. For details on how to apply, visit the IWC website.

Applications must be during the online application window and seats will be allocated after the closing date. The process will select successful applicants randomly.

A spare seat costs up to £190 for a full term and up to £95 for a half term.
