Congratulations to 13 year old Luca Speight from Sandown, champion of the Red Nose Day Bake Off held at Sandown Library on Friday.
Luca, a pupil of Sandown Bay Academy and very keen cook, was up against stiff competition, but his orange and white chocolate cake impressed the judges sufficiently to take first prize.
He received not only the title of Bake Off Champion, but also a set of Red Nose Day Emma Bridgewater oven gloves and mug.
Well done Luca, it’s great to your baking and cooking skills being recognised by others.
