Saturday night at the Jazz Festival sees the return of DJ Perry Louis and the JazzCotech dancers to Ventnor.
They performed a great show last year (despite the problems with the power) and this year they return alongside Manteca and Thabani.
Manteca (pictured), will be bringing their own style of Latin nu-groove jazz to the Wight. The band is a 9-piece, which was formed back in 2001 by sexy Colombian singer Martha Acosta and bass guitarist/MD Don Fiora (Javier Fioramonti) for the Hogmanay festival and have played at many festivals since.
Big bands are the theme of the night, with Thabani. A 7 piece Roots-Soul collective from London who combine Soul, Afro and Groove influences to their “potent mix of front line tunes with a contemporary edge”.
Rounding off the offering DJ Perry Louis, the founder of the Jazzcotech dancers will be selecting his favourite tunes out of his 20,000 strong collection of vinyl.
Tickets are £15 (over 18s only).
There are only 350 tickets only available – so buying in advance is recommended.
