Island female duo, Me and My Sister have been very busy on the Isle of Wight over the last week.
If you were lucky enough to take in some of the live music at Cowes Week, you’ll probably have seen them play several times.
Red Hot Talent
You might remember Becky and Vicki from the Red Hot Talent competition which they came second in.
As a result of the competition they were invited to perform on the Red Funnel Ferries last week. Whilst entertaining the passengers, Me and My Sister also used the time to busk for donations towards the Kerry Green Trust.
What’s it all about?
The charity is one close to their hearts, which aims to fufil the dreams of Island children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses.
Becky told us “The gigs went really well and we had loads of kids dancing and singing along with us, but the real result was the money we raised for the Kerry Green Trust.”
They managed to raise £63.37 during the day. If you’ve got a few quid spare, you can donate online by visiting the Kerry Green Trust Website.
