On International Missing Children’s Day we thought it would be apt to let you know about a new Facebook group that has been set up for friends and relatives of missing teenager, Damien Nettles, to share their memories on.
Memories of Damo was only set up a week ago, but has already gathered many fond memories of the teenager from Gurnard who went missing on 2 November 1996.
Comments have been left by family members, school friends and others who came into contact with Damien over the years.
Recent developments
Police recently arrested five people in connection with Damien’s disappearance and conducted a search of marshland just outside Newport.
Damien will be remembered later today when balloons are set off from St Thomas’ Square in Newport (between 2-5pm) to mark International Missing Children’s Day.
