The Isle of Wight is included in a severe weather warning from The Met Office this morning.
They say from midday until 9pm,
Heavy showers or thunderstorms are expected to develop locally this afternoon. Some torrential downpours are possible, these accompanied by hail and thunder. Showers and thunderstorms will die out this evening.
Some surface water flooding is possible in association with these storms. As such, the public should be aware of the potential for disruption to transport.
