The Monkton Arts Prize 2022 awards ceremony winners were announced at a prize-giving event on Monday 22nd August.
The panel of five local judges found the decision making process incredibly challenging given the volume of high quality submissions received.Â
This year’s winners are as follows:
- 1st Prize (£1000): Jacqui Adams
- 2nd Prize (£500): Kathy Hart
- 3rd Prize (£250): Janice Hay
- People’s Choice (£100 Tatty Devine vouchers): Christine Lines
- Highly Commended:Â Kate Partington; Guy Miller; Mark Chettle; Heather Grey-Newton; Stephen Lines; Christine Lines; Fran Farrar; Martin Swan; Aiden Chong
- Emergent Artist (£100 and signed book): Poppy Moon
- Monkton Team Special Commendation:Â Jacob Light
