Friday saw the end of a manic week’s worth of sport playing on the Isle of Wight, as the Island Games came to an end.
The closing ceremony was held in Cowes and Island videographer Christian Beasley was again out with his video camera recording the event.
Below is the first cut of the footage that gives you an idea of quite how many sports people took part in the event, as they’re concentrated in a single spot at Cowes Haven.
Pupils of Nodehill Middle school were on stage to sing ‘Ray of Light’, which they’d composed with Ecclestone George, as a week-long project at the end of last year.
